Greek Island Holiday Help

Knew you’d been loads from your previous posts. If you stand up and say “I’m Mr T_Bone from the SMB” just before takeoff I’ll give you a wave 😉

I’m the one that won’t be wearing a footy strip on the plane 🤣
I'll do that if you pay for our drinks.

Make sure you explore the town at the start of your holiday cos you will want to go again.
Visit the Bourtzi at any time of the day.
Enjoy !
Two earthquakes nearby today mates are there andcfelt them 😀

Were back to Malia again Sep/oct, love San Giorgio in the old town, literally the best food i’ve eaten! Mind you, there are also fantastic alternatives very close by! Will visit the Alchemist in Koutouloufari also, again exceptional! Just costs a fortune in taxis cos i can’t make it up the hills with me dodgy ticker! Good job our lass (no), is generous with her purse😉
Couldn’t believe how good the restaurants were in Koutouloufari when we were there. Probably the best place have ever been to for food

The free orange pie at the Alchemist is tremendous!

Sidari any good ?
Been roped into going to mates 60’th in September
Albania sounds a good trip on ferry
Done this a few years ago from Corfu Town. Day trip to Sarande and IIRC it was about an hour on the ferry.

Enjoyed the ruins at Buitrint and the marina at Sarande was lovely. Was surprised by how much I liked Albania. Wouldn’t surprise me if it became a holiday destination in its own right in decades to come.

Sofias in old hersonissos square is fabulous. About one mile away from koutou. It's a must do.
We went to old Hersonissos Square but can’t remember name of restaurant. Think there were 3 villages within a few miles of each other, but can’t remember the name of the third one
Every meal we had was superb

Just booked for Ixia Rhodes in July. First time there. Been to Crete, Corfu and Kos in the past but was getting sick of going to Spain and my daughter has never been to Greece. Looks canny from what I’ve seen on t’internet
What’s the best historical places to see?

Shall give it a try as we always have a day in Hersonni too!

Try the old town in Malia! Stupendous quality but about 3 times as much choice
