Greek Island Holiday Help

Looking for some advise for mid June all adults. So for looking at chania as we want a good town near by.

Also looking at skiathos and lindos ect.

Any decent places to look at around them areas? @small mythos

Ta
There is medium size hotels within the Chania catchment. Spot on location .
There's also small resorts west of chania . Ryanair go direct
Georgioupolis is a small village about 40 mins East and lovely

So Skiathos Town? looks class like but we a hotel with a pool and theres not many near the town itself.
We stayed in Skiathos Town last September - Hotel Oro - about 5-10 minutes walk into the main area of town. Had a pool - only a small pool but the hotel only had about 15 rooms so we never had any bother getting one of the few sunbeds, especially later in the afternoon.

Sister-in-law and her partner stayed in the La Piscine Art hotel - about the same distance to the centre of town and had a much larger pool and surrounding area.

Get yourself along to the Mylos Tavern (old windmill, right on the edge of the bay) and watch the planes coming in to land or take-off. They're only about 40/50 metres directly above you - it's quite an experience!

Cheers for the info everyone.

Looks good but no availability when Ive checked which is a shame.

We stayed at Villa Apollon in Achladies. Studio apartments with a lovely pool and fabulous views. Next to bus stop and close to the beach where there is a regular water taxi into Skiathos town.
A few nice tavernas locally and there was a lovely one right up in the hills that would come and pick you up and bring you back.

Have a look at Megali Ammos it’s a fifteen/ twentyminute walk into the town harbours. The beach at Megali is ok with several great tavernas. The bus service is very good if you want to visit other beaches.
We stay in the town itself but are not bothered about a pool. We visit the beaches. Flights to Skiathos are not cheap mind but we think prices are ok once you’re there.
I wouldn’t worry too much about getting a hotel out of the very centre, in fact it’s probably preferable. You can easily walk from the Megali Ammos area to Skiathos town and back for a night time. Even if you get a hotel further out, there’s a water taxi.
Would also second those saying Tsilivi in zakynthos. That particular area is quiet during the day with a good nightlife if you like a nice meal and a few beers. The main beach is opposite Kefalonia with great views of that island. It’s also pretty much one of the hottest Greek islands going.

That water taxi was a bit hairy on the last one back in the dark😬

Do you prefer skiathos town to Kos town?

I went to Hersonnisoss when there was only one taxi.

The vicious git would not take us up the hill to our villa.
