Greek Island Holiday Help

Yes mate, that’s the one. What’s the beer like? Not a patch on Mythos?

They have that Zorbas, which is passable.
You'll have to be up 7ish for a sunbed even though the signs say towels will be moved. Lots of polish here so thankfully we've not had to chat to anyone.
Plenty choice on the food

We enjoyed it. Only minus point for us was there wasn't anywhere that really stood out for dining out. Iris bar is great for watching sport. Enigma bar (I think) did this alcoholic chocolate milkshake which was tremendous. Got absolutely shit faced on them one night.
There was a really decent kebab shop just over the road from Iris bar.
They had a bloke on doing Meatloaf covers when we were there which made @Sandboy really happy!!
We had a villa just behind Iris bar.
Really enjoyed the place.

October could be dodgy weather. I noticed last October Turkey had great weather as did Cyprus. Crete was not so good.
Places like Corfu, Skiathos, Kef close before October half term
Some of the northern island have really short seasons

Gets wet and surprisingly miserable

Looked at Parga about five years ago, very nearly booked it.. Fancied it and visiting Paxos and Anti Paxos but a good friend went and said Skiathos Town was better and that put me off.
Like the look of Chania too. Never been. Our lass won’t do islands without an airport so I’m restricted.
Did you have a good time in Skiathos ? I saw you were there recently.
@Fletch clear your inbox marra.
Cleared
2 weeks Friday and I’m back in Tsillivi. Love the place

Called the Getaway now
My daughter (no) has booked Tsivili , first time away with couple of her friends , never been myself

Piccadilly or summat? We went there first night cos we were staying just up the road and it was late. Had a meal and a beer and asked for our bill. Waitress pointed us to a bloke on a till. Went up and he just rang up €50 on the till and pointed to the amount on the display. Didn't get a bill or owt so couldn't check if it was correct (I suspect it was way over from my mental arithmetic). Never went back.

There's a street food gyros place on the main drag that looked canny and people said was decent but we never tried it.

Seen a few good reviews for a place called Pitta Break, can’t wait to be sitting in the sun with a gyros and a mythos 😄
