Asda have started doing Lebanese style flat breads. Not as good as the real thing obviously, but absolutely tremendous if you want to make your own gyros at home.

Tremendous one from the market on Newcastle quayside. Don't know if they're only there on a weekend.

They appear on our menu here every Thursday evening. Not having had them previously i have a very small frame of reference.
My experience is they are f***ing hideous...… much like everything else here though to be fair.
Going to Greece in September (yes i know i am able to afford a holiday - Pathetic) so hopefully will have a better opinion thereafter.

Souvlakiland is my go-to takeaway. They have a ten pound minimum spend for deliveries so I have to order two at a time. For mesel. Then gobble them up. Yellow sauce arl owa.
