Only because any twerp can pick up a club and be half decent in about a week.Competitiveness in that sport should play a major factor to. Not many sports when 50 + players have a genuine chance of winning the event like there is in golf

A factor, certainly. But not nearly the only one.Competitiveness in that sport should play a major factor to. Not many sports when 50 + players have a genuine chance of winning the event like there is in golf
Aye rightoI agree, so for that reason, anyone who can dominate a sport as complex and challenging as golf deserves to be near the top of any of these lists.

Please feel free to explain why, in your opinion, golf is neither complex nor challenging.A factor, certainly. But not nearly the only one.

golf better meets the definition of "game" than "sport," does not require rigorous physical activity, and can be played professionally by people who are overweight, injured, or non-athletic.
I'm not here trying to make the case. Why don't you convince me it draws upon a wider range of skills than some of the other top sports? Please feel free to explain why, in your opinion, golf is neither complex nor challenging.
He has clearly been a very very very good golfer. Which is not the be all and end all in this question. It should be a major factor imo. Golf is ultra competitive. His level of dominance was that good he was going off even money favourite in events when pre him it would be 10/1 the field. 50 plus folk have a genuine chance of winning tournaments and the winner has got to beat every single one if these. That happens in no other sport
On the subject of Tiger Woods winning today.
I'll throw a few other names into the mix
Roger Federer
Stephen Hendry
Ronnie O' Sullivan (if he can match Henry's world championship haul)
Phil Taylor
Pele
Messi
Ronaldo (the skinny one)
If Boxing is the hardest sport and Ali the best boxer then this is likely right.Owt like this on the telly always ends up with Ali winning.
Christ you are an intolerable arsehole.Let the adults have a bit chat mate, kid free
Rafa Nadal. His never say die attitude and the way he conducts himself on the court are examples for all youngsters in any sport to follow.
