GOTY

Worst year I can think of ever tbh.

This year I've bought a ps5 but haven't bought any games for it.

I got party games for the switch, warioware and Mario party etc.

Bought timberborn on steam. Its a beaver based city builder.

Garbage year for me.

Just finished deathloop, loved it, very inventive game making doing the same thing seem different.

Technically last year but I got the directors cut of Tsushima this year and absolutely loved it. Best combat in any game I’ve played.

honourable mention to it takes two

Not many new games have peaked an interest for me to be fair.

Best game I have played this calendar year is Red Dead Redemption 2 and that came out a while ago.

The fact that a split-screen cooperative which is a platform game version of Overcooked won the actual game of the year sums up as an indicator of the quality of the games which was out in 2021.

New Resident Evil was a close but no cigar.

Elden Ring will probably smash every category in '22.

Forza Horizon 5

Other games which didn't come out this year but are possibly up there as my favourites I've played this year are Persona 5 Royal and Yakuza 0

Dunno if I’ve played anything released in 2021 for console. I usually wait until games are dirt cheap now. Valheim on PC probably GOTY from what I actually played.

Haven't played anything released in 21 but did replay RDR2 right the way through and of course, it was immense so I'll go for that.

Also played Mafia III again right the way through and enjoyed that.
