We played one game at Cambridge in a howling gale blasting straight across the fens. I think we won with a goal from a corner that got caught by a gust at exactly the right moment

No lids in those days either iirc. I took a few scaldings as a child, but went back for more each home game !It didn't matter where you bought it either. Every urn must have been set to exactly 99⁰c so as not to quite boil
