Vindaloo does have black pepper in (restrained) quantity, but Goa is twaddle + all North territory joints, you're right.
 


The little Indians within the hasting hill was nice. Best vindaloo I ever tasted, very tasty and hot.
The lad was southern Indian which makes a difference apparently. Not there now and not sure where he went. Probably a restaurant in town.
Fulwell tandoori was exceptional but been a while since I was there. Lamb chops where Devine.

They do deliver but went downhill when it changed hands imo and after a bit of a scene involving garlic mayo we won’t be back
