Gonzalo Garcia (signing suggestion)

Seriously ? Mayenda will end up top scorer for us this season. Game time needed.

Mayenda has got to get past both Wilson and now Brobbey in a system where only 1 striker plays. As someone mentioned above, he may get a chance out wide when players leave for AFCON. A loan would probably be better for his progression, given his age. I think the same for Rigg too.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another striker come in of a certain pedigree if available. I've no doubt the club will push again in the transfer market if there's better quality available, given where we are or could be in January, and I'm not too sure if they are bothered about upsetting some players who have been here a while.

Was just about to say the same thing. He’s not getting much game time and he’s far from the finished product.

Another season tearing up the championship would be great for him I think.
A loan to a club like Coventry would be ideal. They play attacking football and he'd get lots of chances. I can't believe I've actually said that to be honest.

Is that the club that signed Ellis Simms,£5 million . He hardly get's any game time there ! Mayenda best where he is now ,at Sunderland .End of !

Loan Mayenda out and get this lad in?
Aye let's loan out one promising but not the finished product Spanish U21 striker who's warming our bench, so that we can have room to spend £20m+ on bringing in a promising but not the finished product Spanish U21 striker to warm our bench.

Or, let's spend the money on some wingers.

They are a notoriously bad source, but you know what they say about stopped clocks
There's usually bad news around?

Funeral Blues

W. H. Auden

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message ‘He is Dead’.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Boro might not play as attacking, but not having to relocate and being in familiar surroundings, browne is there so will settle in youd imagine. Wouldnt be a bad deal all round if he isnt getting minutes here

Don't get too attached to players. If there is a better option availiable the club will act. I wouldn't be shocked to see Mayenda sold and Garcia brought in. Trust the process, it currently has us 4th in the Premier Legaue.

He was a great man. I'm sure I'm right
I may be late, keep him on a low light.

The Athletic reporting that Real Madrid are now willing to let him leave with a buy back clause. Wonder if we'll rekindle our interest in the summer if, as looks likely, Isidor is away.
