Looks like the levelling up of the model (@pRICK) to me. We’d be getting him in to settle for half a season then break into the team next season imo.

Maybe we fancy Mayenda as a winger anyway.
Or as a wide forward at least. Sadio Mane style. Reg’s hybrid formation at the moment does allow for the “wingers” to play quite high.

I think he did step up, but unfortunately for him so did Isidor who has continued to do so. It’s just the timing for me as Mayenda started the season in the starting 11 for a reason, which might have been Isidor carrying a knock, though I’m not fully sure.

Was at Burnley when he missed that sitter. His head went down instantly and he did nowt for the rest of the game. Showed flashes since and probs needs more minutes, but I don’t think he’s going to get many here atm

Suprised at the lack of game time Mayenda has had personally, not that I can criticise Rege at all.
I really like Mayenda off the right hand side and he causes carnage for the opposition, would like him given a few more minutes (in place of Traore), think Talbi looks better from the left cutting in.
