I had to do some searching to see what I was referring to there. Post was from six years ago.
Long time since I've watched it but Gomorrah the film isn't very good. I love the TV series and L'Immortale.

Finally got round to watching it and juat started S4. Superb. The writing is excellent. The way they just casually drop in scenes or dialogue that ultimately weaves the plot for the season is so good. It's right up there with 'The Bureau' for me as the best foreign language show I've seen.

Currently watching it now and again. It's very good but surely you wouldn't want to live like that. One minute everything's fine and the next minute you're dead. Then it's fine for your mates, then the next minute they're also dead. Also, the amount of passers-by seemingly executed for being in the wrong place at wrong time is astounding. I'm not sure that would be allowed to happen in real life without massive repercussions.

Upto season 3 episode 1 again. Don't think I'll ever get bored of rewatching it.

Being honest it is an average film but you need to watch it if you're going to watch season 5.

yes ...but only cos its like a 2 hr episode rather than a full series.
It does what it intends to do regarding Ciro in terms of “did he or didnt he“
