Just played my first round of the year 
I'm on holiday in North Carolina (I know pathetic). It's at my old home course and I played with someone else's irons which were 20 years old and not a complete set. A driver that my 70 old mate uses, an ancient putter and crummy balls, have to say I was like a pig in shit, played decent and smashed that old man's driver and those twenty year old irons were better than my current set 
I've been entered into a comp for the weekend and I'll get to use them all over again 
All in all a cracking first round of the year and the first since September last year. More to come over the next few weeks too.

I did check if I'd played there but alas it was a course near Harrogate that I have played that IIRC had a similar name. Oh and as an aside, I have had to have an emergency on course shit on three occasions that I recall.
