Why isn’t he? Well thought of, would give his all. Football management isn’t rocket science, especially at this level - know your players, build the right team spirit, bit of luck and all is well with the world. We need a manager with the right fit for the club, not some ‘tactical genius’ (they don’t exist by the way).

First step for me is getting out of this league and I doubt it'll be done by some tactical genius, look around: determination, fight, unity and positivity are massive at this level.

Everytime Ball has been caretaker we've had fight and positivity, even if we've also been a bit naïve.
