This alleged lawsuit against the club doctor at the time.
I can fully understand the reasonings behind this but why now?

This was a long while ago under a regime that Short had.
If successful who would benefit? Short? The club? Who?

I don’t actually see why this has started at this time and for what reason apart from if Short was Pershing this which I highly doubt.

Anyone give any actual plausible reason?

because the current owners are still paying the price simple as that
