Cirkin latest to get the Dan Neil treatment, it must have been decided he's leaving too. And not saying Neil should have played every week but he was a waste of a body on the bench when he was never going to come on.

That's not the point I'm making, it's that the decision has been made not to play them so why even bother having them on the bench. Also I'd argue Cirkin played well when he came in particularly against City

It's obviously been decided he's not going to stay, but Le Bris has a habit of leaving players on the bench when this happens (see Neil, Cirkin, Gerty) and not considering bringing them on (regardless of ability) which I think is a bit too stubborn if that player could impact the game positively.

After his 1st half performance how Hume came out for the 2nd half is beyond me. He was woeful at LB. Yet we have a better player who has been under used sat on the bench.

It's more that he doesn't seem to be an option and is just making up numbers on the bench but will never get on. I'd probably rather Cirkin started over Hume at left back who can do a job but it's not his natural position
