Why would a bucher open on a Saturday when the Sunday roast is probably a main (or the main) source of his income? It doesn't make any sense, does it?

because its not really a 'butchers'. Its a meat wholeseller.

Just been down there this morining, was absolutely heaving

Dunno what the price per kilo is but I bet it isn't any different to Morrisons.

I heard a rumor that Morrisons get their meat from Bolams?.

I've seen their lorries unloading at the one in Pools. Only once, mind.

Ouch. I'll have to give this one a miss. 60 mile round trip for a decent steak is just a bit too far.

Mate it's no more expensive than Bolams, it's just a family trying to earn a living off their produce and they do it the right way.

The stuff they do is beautiful, top top meat and it costs you no more than going to any butchers or supermarket.

Trust me.

Went there today, bought a shitload of stuff, and had a full English in the cafe. Cracking place.
Cheers.

Huge piece of pork, sirloin steaks, loads of sausages and some rabbit.
Havnt scranned owt yet. Looking forward to it though.

Directions please?

They usually have a stall at the farmers market in the town. Next ones this Friday. There's one on in Hartlepool once a month on a saturday

His Brisket is top flight, I buy it just to make pies, do it in the slow cooker and it falls apart

Superb innit, the pork shoulder is class anarl for pulled pork if you ever make that?

Their pork is as good as it gets.

On the new bypass between Bishop and West.

The wild boar sausages are probably the best I have had

If you haven't already don't freeze the beef and have it blue, I have picked at the sirloin raw

Last time I was there I was sitting in the carpark waiting for a space and the old farmer turns up with about 10 sheep and I thought, this is a one way job for them.

Thats when you know the meat is going to be good, fresh as it gets
