Been a really strange loan deal. Dropped after his best game and never seen since. Sure Le Bris has his reasons but it’s odd looking at it from the outside in

He’s played a weird number of games, so I doubt he’s an appearance away from making it permanent. But then I’d be making it permanent anyway.

It could be argued that it has also won us points. We have got plenty of points with hume playing in midfield or the hybrid role. So I would consider your post to be harsh.

The baffling thing is I’m not sure how he doesn’t fit in our squad. He’s had a couple of poor performances but bar two or three games, in which everyone was poor, he’s never let us down.

He’s a class above some players who have had plenty more game time.
 
Looked much better when played at RB, then dropped after his best game yet against the mags.

With Ballard now out for the remaining games I'd be playing Nordi central and Geertruida RB. But if the rumours are true about 30 games, I don't think we'll see him again unfortunately
 
For the rumoured fee to buy him, I'm yet to see anything near that. Decent option to have around the place but not a first teamer for me. Same as Diarra for me but at least he's still young

I never understand this because if hes good enough to play then whats the worry in signing him permanently.

Also if we did have to sign him but he was wanted by champions league clubs we could make a nice profit.
 
Too good to be sat on the bench most weeks. Be daft to sign here when Reggie doesn’t fancy him.
 
Real shame he looks like he won't be with us next year. Looks like a very good option at right back and even decent at CB. Also a good lad in the dressing room it seems.

Was 18m too much for someone we felt would be 2nd choice in both those areas when we had Mukiele, Ballard and Hume as options across the two positions? Guess it depends how much money we have to spare but I hope injuries won't make us regret that next year.
