Has this happened much before? I've seen players/clubs cut loans short like Grabban then to be sent elsewhere or someone being bought like with Tammy Abraham recently.

But don't recall ones where a player with no break clause getting interest from somewhere else and the clubs he's on loan to being quite happy to let him go to another club on loan.

Marc Guiu's loan was cut short but he was back at his parent club Chelsea not a new club. In fact he was back at Stamford Bridge before the car taking him to Sunderland got back.

I don't know what to make of this one. Gutted a summer signing is leaving so soon. Even if it was on loan. But still, you expect season long loan deals to be just that. That's more what I am bothered about.

There is a worry, we're losing a very good player who can play numerous positions. However you dress it up that's not good

I'd be happy if he stays, I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him permanently. See how it plays out.
