Geertruida

I'm not disputing this? Now answer my point... If Sunderland want to sign a player from either club in the future is it better for Sunderland to have a good rapport or a rapport? Playing hard ball with a squad player who's had his head turned isn't helpful in any way, shape or form.
As I've said I don't accept your point because I don't see any favours from Chelsea or Liverpool. We are now a PL club so I doubt both these clubs want to send us anyone that could kick us on. Losing Geertuida weakens us and I don't see Liverpool giving a fuck.

two loans being terminated in a season must be a first. Can’t blame him for going when he’s watching Hume stink it up in midfield from the bench
Or we're palying Hume in Midfield as his head has been turned and he;s pushing for the move.

It's not necessarily about favours. It's about having a seat at the negotiation tables when the next time Sunderland want a player from these clubs. If you make their life more difficult (when I don't see what gain Sunderland would get by keeping him when he clearly would jump at the opportunity) then when it comes to bargaining in the future Sunderland won't have a leg to stand on. As the saying goes: choose your battles wisely. This only impacts Sunderland positively or negatively.
