The handling of his playing time here has been shocking, one of the only criticisms I have for Le Bris.

Perhaps the club don't agree with you, perhaps Slot had already been on to him? It's not always simplistic. So then I'll revert back to my original point that the club should have made this permanent as soon as January came around and we wouldn't be in this position, he'd already proved his worth.
Do you? Hasn’t that already happened?I'm not sure people understand how how options to purchase work. You do have to also have to agree with the player you know![]()
We have first refusal though, that's partly why Liverpool are talking to us. I think it'd be incredibly naive not to think Slot has been talking to him for a while, they haven't just thought about it the day before the window closes.
You can have 33 points and still make mistakes. We did lose at West Ham, so saying what if is completely irrelevant.Reggie has us sitting merrily on 33 points and 11th in the league. Nee bollock dropped really. I assume had he not dropped this bollock we would've won at West Ham?
Won't we just buy him at the agreed price and then sell him immediately to Liverpool at double bubble?
Maybe we want the cash for something else we have lined up. No need to shit the bed just yet.
Nee one likes a show off mate ,I got a C in GCSE maths ya know
Hume.Would you play him ahead of Mukiele?
I think it’s clear that most would play him over Hume.Would you play him ahead of Mukiele?
Yet Hume has had a good seasonI think it’s clear that most would play him over Hume.
How was it mayenda ? There’s no way he’d play on the wing.Fair amount of recency bias on show with this. The idea that ‘we’ve been playing hume instead of him all season’ doesn’t track imo. Particularly since Hume has played well the vast majority of the time and has only really underperformed when at left back, up to the WHU game. And even then it was Mayenda who got to play instead of Geerty against West Ham, rather than Trai.
As for him leaving, it would be a big blow but players are always going to want to go to elite clubs from Sunderland if they get the chance. All the reasons why we want the lad (primarily his versatility) are the same for Liverpool. He may not be a nailed on starter at either club but he will play plenty when others are unavailable or off the bench. Hopefully we’re well compensated.
It could also be that we don't.Looks like we could possibly be going to exit the January window weaker than we went in
