Geertrudia i thought was brilliant second half against the mags but he hasn’t been great himself. Around xmas time i was questioning why Hume played ahead of him etc but after Geertrudia got a run in the team i quickly realised why. He won’t be signing in the summer
 

He's obviously not going to be signing here but I think he'll go down as one that got away.

Criminally underused especially when there have been so many opportunities to use him and he has generally been very good when used.

We simply won't be getting a better player who can cover 3 positions for the £18m he'd cost.

A real shame.

He isn’t first choice. He had a few poor games himself. He was never a CM in a million years. Hume can play in 3 positions doesn’t mean he’s worth more because he can. Geertrudia has shown he’s not good enough to move us forward he hasn’t been a first choice regular all season bar a little spell during afcon where he wasn’t anything special. Id be gutted wasting 18M on a squad filler

Too late now, but a massive waste to have a player as good as him in the squad and underuse him so much that he's not going to stay.

Loads been saying it all season, only the manager who hasn't been able to see it.

Will go and sign with a champions league club but could have easily been ours

I'm actually quite angry that he hasn't played more after watching his performance today.
