So when he makes a totally valid point, or points, he should be ignored because he took the Qatari payout?
One poor choice doesn’t mean he is wrong on all things surely.

Nothing Gary Neville has said there is wrong.

It’s easy to do it on ITV and not BEIN.

Also he’s a virtually signalling thick head. Migrant workers in Qatar are treated much worse than our striking nurses and postman and that’s a fact.

He’s tried to take the moral high ground and made himself look thick.
 
First time I've seen it as not seen any wc coverage. Firstly you could say neville is correct, and of course we all want key workers ti be treated better. You could also say he's using his position on TV to further his political aspirations. You could also say its whataboutery of the highest order. Don't mention Qatar (which have paid me fortuntes to sportswash all of you watching) look at something else instead. He makes me sick due to his hypocrisy, same as when he took sky money and stuck up for the Saudis.

Perhaps when he's making the points on the very platform which is paying him mega money, which could have gone to the workers in question who built the stadiums, it sort of tarnishes it a bit. It's easy to talk. Harder to make a stand. He chose to take the money and say a few comments. Beckham made a mint, and I don't think his mate wanted to miss out . They will both be patting each other on the back saying how they have highlighted the good and bad points thinking they are heroes
 
The real issue here is that a man has been paid by the people he's criticising, which discredits those criticisms. I think. Maybe. Hang on, what was my point again? Ah yes, workers dying.
