Gary Lineker…the Midas touch

Jees he done well like. I can’t believe that podcast makes that much money, Lineker is good, Shearer dull, Richards unbearable.
I thought ppl wanted short form content, not long podcasts, tho maybe older ppl do and they are more likely too pay a monthly or whatever subscription, I cant be bothered with regular podcasts, maybe if it’s got a guest on I’m interested in

i am. you carry on getting things wrong.
edit, that's in relation to your middle east comment and insinuation btw. next time try to read stuff first before pressing the submit reply button.
I didn’t insinuate anything. I used the word “you” rather than “he”, a simple typo.

I have been polite.

Edit: can’t be arsed

I know this is Pure Football and all that but the Rest is History is genuinely superb. Balanced, nuanced, opinionated yet done so in a reasonable authentic way and... very funny.

In a sea of absolute guff, that podcast is going down as a Hall of Famer.

He’s sponsored by a company. That make crisps. Sadly, that’s capitalism.

Find me some examples of sportspeople who come out and criticise their sponsors.

I hate the argument that someone who has an opinion on something, but not another, and that makes them a twat. It’s far easier to stay silent.
Ultimately his choice to run with it though. He could have chosen to accept a less rewarding deal that was more aligned to his background as an athlete. Maybe he actually enjoyed stuffing his face with shit crisps, who knows.

A great footballer,a renowned pundit,à very decent man and also a very smart businessman
Well done Gary

Hang on, I thought because he supported BLM he was this massive Communist…
