Gareth Barry Surrey head coach

I like how you sound wounded I might doubt it lol. Just mind blowing. Don't really remember him bursting onto the scene really young, or playing to a ripe old age and he seemed to have a lot of injuries. I could have named players all day for most appearances without ever thinking of him
First appearance for Villa at 17 I think. Played for Everton until 35/56 and then went to West Brom. Only retired in 2020

Didn't realise he joined villa so early, Brighton wasn't it? I thought he's spent a good chunk of the early and late career outside the premiership. Can't believe he only retired only two years back

Yeah, he never played for Brighton. Played 2 games in 97/98 (born 81) and was then a regular from then, 32 league games in 98/99. Only 2 seasons outside the PL (his last 2)

Seems he was rarely injured. Aside from 01/02 always played more than 30 games a season in the league
