Former England midfielder Gareth Barry played for West Brom's Under-21s at the age of 37 in the Checkatrade Trophy but failed to save them from elimination.

Barry, who holds the record for most Premier League appearances, played 45 minutes on his return from injury as Albion lost 2-1 at Macclesfield, the EFL's bottom side.

Gibson and Anichebe were only 28. They just played and had the fitness of a overweight 37 year old.

He’s not 36, he just looks ancient. He’s still only 32

Went to watch Man City v Wolves in the rain a few back. Its was the day before Gyan scored of his arse against the scum. City Won 4-3 Tevez scored a hat-trick and i think Dzeko scored on his debut. But the best player on the pitch by a country mile was Gareth Barry.
