Games for my 6 year old.

If you've got a PS5 Astros Playroom is brilliant. My 4 year old loved it but had to give me the control for some of the tricky bits. First platinum trophy for ages

We've been playing Sackboys big adventure and again she's struggling with some of the difficult bits but should be no bother for a 6 year old.

Any recommendations? I was thinking of trying Zelda and Mario?

Can't really go wrong with any first party games available on the switch imo. Would go with Mario over Zelda at that age, BOTW and TOTK are probably going to be a bit difficult for them. You get multiplayer with Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash Bros etc. so you can actually play with them rather than just plopping them in front of a screen.

Football, tennis, golf, hide and seek, get the youngster away from a screen as long as possible. Don't encourage it, they'll want to spend all of their time on a screen when they get older.

Zelda is a lot of fun, and definitely child friendly in terms of content.

A lot of the puzzles are very complicated and fiddly though, so might be beyond a 6 year old.
