The conference will be supporting the World Suicide Prevention Day theme of 'Creating Hope through Action'. Guest speakers confirmed include Kathy Mckenna-Churchill from Washington MIND, dedicated to co-producing quality mental health training programmes that meet the needs of our community, will deliver a presentation on bereavement , while Matthew Williams, Director at Knock Out Depression CIC, men's mental health; author, speaker and mental health trainer, will be the keynote speaker and will deliver a presentation on Hope.
There will be an opportunity to ask the panel questions and share good practice through peoples lived experience. We have also contacted local services to help you in your signposting and awareness to their services and they will be exhibiting at the conference with plenty of time for you to browse their stands.
Every delegate will receive their conference pack and for those of you who have not yet received your Game of II Halves Ambassadors hoody and resource pack, you can collect these at the conference.
The conference is 5-8pm, light refreshments will be available for all delegates. There is plenty of parking available at the Stadium of Light car parks with a short walk to the Beacon of Light.
