Funding for Cricket Clubs

Keawyeds

Evening all,

As many of you know, I'm an Events Fundraiser by trade for my local hospice.
However, I've recently offered my fundraising services to my local cricket club. I haven't played since I was at school and don't really see the likelihood of playing again, but I like to go in there because it's decent, community run and close to mine.

I wanted to ask the Hivemind on here if any of you are Cricket Club members and could help with funding for things they need.
They're not a registered charity (yet) and I think are working through the process to get the Club Mark from the ECB.
Any help or advice would be most welcome.

I can also suggest funding streams to any of you who are members of a club which is already a charity if that helps!
Cheers

have a look into if they are a CASC "Community Amateur Sports Clubs", they can apply for a reduction in their business rates from the council, it can be up to 80% and some council's waver the last 20% too.

I'll ask the committee. Thanks!
