The only reason I can imagine not playing the kids is he thinks we are going to get a mullering and doesn't want them getting the losing mentality that is prevalent in the first team

I agree - same with Jones who is out of contract in the summer. Just play the lads who are going to be here next year for fuck sake - including Embleton.

I’m trying to see the logic in that Becs, he’s a manager I’m not, but if I was a young lad contracted to the club and stuck on the bench behind that lot I’d be absolutely furious.
