I dont care
We need international cricket in the north. Manchester is nowhere near the north east

Personally I think any governing body/organization that runs any national side wants club or counties to provide good players for that national side because that suits that governing body and will make them look good. That'your opinion which you're fully entitled to hold. Whether you have the right to call opinions opposing that as ludicrous or silly is another issue.
Then perhaps you should accept that others can have a completely different take on issues. to yours. That doesn't make them silly or their viewpoint ludicrous. To do so comes over as arrogance.Personally I think any governing body/organization that runs any national side wants club or counties to provide good players for that national side because that suits that governing body and will make them look good.
So for anyone to suggest that governing body is jealous of any team providing them with them players is silly, not sure how it can perceived otherwise tbh.
I think that is generally the case I agree especially when assessing players as that normally is a matter of opinion and all views should be respected. Then perhaps you should accept that others can have a completely different take on issues. to yours. We're arguing semantics. If you're happy with calling people silly for having an opinion contrary to yours, that's your prerogative.Personally I've seen enough of ECB behaviour to believe them capable of anything.I think that is generally the case I agree especially when assessing players as that normally is a matter of opinion and all views should be respected.
But occasionally on here they is some silly things said and on this occasion saying somebody is jealous of something that actually benefits them is silly imo.
Well that’s it on your last point there is no doubt the ECB has proved themselves self serving and care about themselves before others or for the benefits of cricket as a whole. We're arguing semantics. Your defence of the leniency shown to Yorkshire is that they're in the north of England. That doesn't make any logical sense.I dont care

So if this was Surrey then it would be fine to punish them because there's another ground up the road?
It nonsense.
I dont think they have been shown leniency at all
Durham were absolutely shafted
doesnt mean I think other counties should be too
Making people of the north and north east suffer for what Yorkshire\s head coach did or someit is nonsense.
Mate I'm astounded at your stance on this tbh. If you think it was "just the coach or someit" then clearly you haven't been following the case at allI dont think they have been shown leniency at all

First hand accounts of a county with a racist culture where non white players were routinely abused, and the punishment was no test matches in November, December and January.
If you think the ECB haven't shown Yorkshire leniency then there is no point going any further with this.

Why should the public be punished for what a rotten dressing room did?
Your point makes no sense
Not at all
Why should the public be punished for it?
Peoples answer seems to be just get the train to London.
You are missing my point like
Not trying to downplay anything
Don't be silly.
Your comment 'Yorkshire\s head coach did or someit' is pretty offensive, and if you don't know why that's your problem.
Last word form me, it's pointless trying to engage with anyone who can brush off what has happened at Yorkshire.
I haven’t
Poor post, looking for conflict
Log off
Yorkshire people shouldn’t be punished for the actions of the club. Simple as that.
Sack the lot of them, relegate them, whatever you want
But don’t take international cricket away from people who work all year to go and see it
I don’t see how that’s remotely controversial
I’ve actually seen atherton and dobell make the exact same point so don’t think I’m being out of order there
You're not being out of order. It's a fairly rational stance.
I definitely think they've been very fortunate to avoid relegation
Aye literally do whatever you want to them just don’t take international cricket away
That’s it’s punishing people who have done absolutely nothing wrong IMO anyway
I think people are reading too much into my coach comment, I was just trying to make the point it’s a club issue not a public issue
I knew what you meant.
Headingley is probably the ground that attracts the most 'out of towners' to internationals giving its reputation as a party ground so would certainly be punishing a lot more than Yorkshire.
