Personally I think any governing body/organization that runs any national side wants club or counties to provide good players for that national side because that suits that governing body and will make them look good.

So for anyone to suggest that governing body is jealous of any team providing them with them players is silly, not sure how it can perceived otherwise tbh.

Then perhaps you should accept that others can have a completely different take on issues. to yours. That doesn't make them silly or their viewpoint ludicrous. To do so comes over as arrogance.

I think that is generally the case I agree especially when assessing players as that normally is a matter of opinion and all views should be respected.

But occasionally on here they is some silly things said and on this occasion saying somebody is jealous of something that actually benefits them is silly imo.

We're arguing semantics. If you're happy with calling people silly for having an opinion contrary to yours, that's your prerogative.Personally I've seen enough of ECB behaviour to believe them capable of anything.

Well that’s it on your last point there is no doubt the ECB has proved themselves self serving and care about themselves before others or for the benefits of cricket as a whole.

Really hard to give them any creditability or respect, bit like the government

If you think the ECB haven't shown Yorkshire leniency then there is no point going any further with this.

Headingley is probably the ground that attracts the most 'out of towners' to internationals giving its reputation as a party ground so would certainly be punishing a lot more than Yorkshire.
