Agree with this, however there certainly seemed to be a case of durham players leaving durham suddenly becoming much better players deserving of england recognition. and given people at FTECB also hosting posts at rival counties i don't think it's a stretch to suggest they had conflicting interests, in the same way yorkshire would benefit from durham losing test status and hampshire benefit from us being relegated instead of them.
there's absolutely no credibility in a punishment handed out by those who would directly benefit from the severity of the sanctions
