Two new albums are out based on the Music Hall tradition.
Not sure the Madness one works. They have taken the concept and just slotted in a bunch of their own songs.
Joe Jackson, on the other hand, has uncovered a bunch of lost Victorian-era songs by Max Champion. The whole album is like an evening at the Music Hall. Atmospheric and brilliant fun.
