I think the club does a pretty good job at ticketing and pricing for all, can't please all the people all the time though.

Yes I have benefited and today I am passing my season ticket on for the Norwich match for free.
Someone else who I don't know was at the Chelsea match on Wednesday from my pocket. I have sorted people out with tickets lots of times.
Therefore I do believe in give and take.
I am really struggling at the moment, matchdays now, except twice this season , are dry. Others get freebies hand over fist.
Yet let's vilify those who commit their support.

We've had around the same number of season ticket holders for the last few years though so any impact has been minimal. As to people on here jacking it it looks as though a few of the main people who are aggrieved by it now are those who have been complaining for years and still threatening to do it ...

Canny sure we are well down on previous seasons mind.
The free ticket stuff never used to bother me, however things do change and it seems far more widespread. Why have a mind if you never change it?

Who is vilifying?
Did you go to Villa last week? Presumably cost you a few quid, your choice of course but because you can't have a pint this week it is the fault of a minority who have been given a freebie.

At which point did I say it was the fault of any freebie that I am skint then? Are you a woman? You certainly debate like one.
I am skint due to lack of work, hopefully this is changing soon, but I am struggling by to support my club.
Yet I see others getting freebies, it does make you wonder.
And if this is jealousy, I am merely human, not superhuman like many on here think they are.
So many believe they are perfect, tolerant etc, but go against their opinion and......

You seem to be making the point that you are skint and you are not happy about freebies. There is absolutely no correlation between the two events but that, as I understand from what you have written seems to be your point. Am I wrong?

I am skint, the freebies do bother me a little but they are not to blame for me being skint. That is due to lack of work.
Is this your first time on earth?
 
If empty seats are the problem, the club should knock off £100-£150 off a season ticket. I would say that will bring a few extra thousand through the gate.

However, even though ticket revenue is pitiful in comparison to the Sky money, the club sees the 25,000-30,000 loyal fans as nothing more than a cash cow.

Quite right! Most on here are just narked coz I was able to get two free tickets for the Southampton game.
