There's nowt like a rising vortex of empty crisp packets with the occasional carrier bag on the pitch to take you mind off your troubles.

If i want something bland and tasteless to refresh me i'll stick my head under the tap and glug some water. I'll not pay £4+ a pint for shite like Carling / Fosters / Coors / Carlsberg* delete as applicable.
 
Charlton protesting throwing crisps on pitch,,,,think owner was a tight arse back in 2018 and stopped staff from eating crisps at desks to cut costs on cleaners

Got me pie and me Bovril as usual... was offered either Cheese & Onion or Salt & Vinegar crisps for nowt.

Took the C&O and the bairn ate them on the way home. Kept him quiet for 5 mins so those free crisps were worth every penny in my book.

(Some dips would've been nice, like)

People can't read mate. See extract below from the original e mail. The free crisps were only with the hot drinks.

As a season card holder, the below offers are available to you at the concourse kiosks during the October home matchdays*
  • 2 x pints of Carling for £7.00
  • Free bag of crisps with every Bovril or Hot Chocolate
 
I had to enter into a negotiation with the bar staff as to whether I was entitled to two points of Carling for £7. Initially I was refused but we got there in the end. Everything always seems much more difficult than it could be.

This resulted in me being late back to my seat for the second half and probably boiling some people's piss.
