Yes all professions are the same and follow the same rules. Haway man engage your brain
Just illustrating the cognitive conception that elemental capability becomes honed by practical participation, thus experience is not overrated

So managers who've been managing for a long period should be successful?
For success it is a case of horses for courses because success can mean many things.

Some clubs just want to survive in the league they are with the minimum spend possible (seems familiar!) and for those owners a successful manager is one that keeps them in there.

Some club owners want to be seen competing at a high level but without breaking the bank (Arsenal anyone?) whilst other clubs, have owners who will plough a fortune into the club's bank account (Man City?) and expect to be winning trophies.

Experience is definitely needed, but success is never guaranteed because football has too many variables for such a neat equation.
