Frank Lampard - manager rumours

The club is getting grief because its 117 days and counting, what hasn't helped either is the owner coming out with a f*cking stupid statement saying he is hopeful a signing is imminent. What also doesn't help is supposed ITK posters on here and across the internet spouting absolute bollocks. You don't help yourself by sending pm's to posters with information which turns out to be utter drivel. Hope this helps.
Has to go down as the world’s worst ITK. Rocked up just for the new head coach debacle and has called absolutely everything completely wrong yet persists with posting made up cackbabble. Impressive stuff really.

I won't believe anymore ITK's, they talk shite and it's all guesswork. I will believe it when it's over the line, next year sometime.

@steadybreeze What are your thoughts on Lampard?
Nothing but good memories about his time with us and sad when he left. Used his contacts to bring in the best loan players I think I've ever seen at Derby and had us playing open flowing football. Turned us into the darlings of the press for a bit and it was weird seeing us with such a high profile on SKY & in the general press who absolutely loved him (before Chelsea & Everton).

There was a bit of an issue with the team he picked in the Playoff final, a lot of the fanbase was pissed because we set out so defensively without a recognised striker against a villa side who TBH were a much better team than us all season. Jury's out on that decision but most were looking forward to the next season, there was a feeling that something was building but then Chelsea came in. He should really have stayed with us for another season or two but like he said he couldn't turn down Chelsea!

He threw himself into the local culture, seen out and about talking you people and is a genuinely nice bloke. I think if you get him given enough time he'll do a brilliant job, he's great at rousing the fans (see the Leeds playoff semi).

It'll be interesting to see how he's matured as a manager after the spells at Chelsea & Everton, he was a bit gung-ho and naïve with us but as I said it made for exciting football untill the final when some would say he lost his bottle.
I think he'd be a great fit at your place, look forward to the fist pumps in front of the away end, the bloke lives his football.

Nowt to do with lampard, or indeed Ronnie Pickering, but just putting this out there as a rival to the ronnie Pickering video. A classic of its time and only takes 10 seconds to watch.

Genuinely the best vid going. Always saying "Ally, for f**k's sake Ally" if one of us cocks something up.
