Frank Lampard - manager rumours

Aye with a points deduction. Take that out of the equation and he got them to a mid table finish where Lamps would have likely been relegated.
Fair point, doesn’t change the basket case club though which surely can’t make it easy for most managers to work in that situation. Dyche has years experience on Lampard so you’d expect him to deal with tricker situations better.

Dreadful manager who got to a play off final in his first season, finished 4th with Chelsea and got to an FA cup final and kept Everton up. Yet to have someone give me the reasons as to why he is so terrible.

Weird.
The lads on 2nd Tier pay more attention to this league than me, and they reckon that his Derby squad should have had them top two rather than in the play offs….which he bottled.

Rosenior is also said to have been key to that teams relative success.

The fact he’s a bit of a joke is not just based on nothing. Can see us being his last roll of the dice and him being gone within six months. Strikes me as the sort of appointment you’d make when your first few choices say no and you panic.

When beale was getting sacked i told a work colleague it was doing the rounds in here, and that it was all just a load of old rubbish, hours later, it happened. And i swore never to doubt an internet crank ever again. And i'm not gonna start now. It's on. Based purely on last time.

Has failed in every job he has been in.

Sounded off at the Chelsea board in blunt fashion over a difference of opinion in transfer policy when things got tough. See where that gets him here.

Spectacular player, very poor manager and leader of young men from the touchline.
Failed at Derby and Chelsea the first time? I’d take that “failure” at the minute
Just drove past the academy, not a sausage there :)
Same here

Whatever he decides to do after the last four bastard months I won't hold against him, the clubs a f***ing joke a shambles from top to bottom.
I think the academy is something to be proud of in spite of the last 4-18 months (depending on your pessimism). Good prospects coming through and made the final of PL2.

I would only say it’s a shambles based on where we as fans know and maybe more expect us to be, before Beale and the BCB nonsense we on the whole thought we were doing okay, strikers not included. Just a shame given how much of a head of steam we seemed to have coming up from league one.

Got Derby to a playoff final
Got Chelsea to 4th place in the Premier League and to the FA Cup final

His managerial CV is far better than most of the candidates we’ve been linked with so far.

I’ve no idea if there’s anything in the links but cannot for the life of me see why people are reacting negatively to the prospect.

Shut up man ya knacker ya kna what a mean man
I have no idea what you mean. Is Fwank the shoe? Or is the club the shoe and Fwank is Cinderella?

Are you saying there’s only one person/shoe that fits the club and we should wait for it? Or that any shoe will do and we shouldn’t worry about whether it fits or not?
