You don’t need silly money.

Put it this way, he’s around 8/1 when the screenshots drop. 50 fans see it and each whack £10 on. That’s £500 effectively put on him.

They drop him to 5/1, 100 more fans see it on here/twitter/whatsapp/social media, and whack £20 on. That’s £2,000 effectively put on him.

It doesn’t mean there’s one person putting big bets on it.

Would have seen only a slight shortening if it was due to bets placed. Only idiots would lump on this over a few screenshots that were as bad as they were.

We've seen similar things in the past and the odds didn't drop that quickly.

Can't see it myself. We've seen this happen in the past and odds haven't shortened from 8/1 to 1/2 that quickly and the "evidence" in those cases looked far more genuine than these daft screenshots.

Already explained above, I don't think they're just reacting to bets placed. That's not the only means odds are shortened, especially this quickly over some daft screenshots.

He went from 8/1 to just above evens before this even really went viral on social media.
