We are way too much of a risk. He isn’t coming here.He is probably best out of the candidates remaining, though I imagine the issue would more getting him to agree than us. He would probably need assurances as a bad spell here might kill off his career
Burstow will be back![]()
Possibly a help to Rigg.Unfortunately, there is not a chance Lampard would have the same immediate impact. The Evertonians I play cards with of a Thursday night were struggling to find a positive in the idea of him going to manage us. The best they could come up with was "shit manager, but he seems like a really nice bloke." Marvellous.
The images I've seem certainly do not look fake (yes I know what some can do) but if you read the contents, it all looks and sound like a Sunderland press release.I suspect the use of fake quotes probably puts the board on dodgy grounds if they left it up? That and the inevitable meltdown that was going to follow.![]()

Yes I was thinking that. I'd imagine both Rigg and Neil, leaving from one of England's best CMs of the past 20 yearsPossibly a help to Rigg.
Hmm, he did inherit quite a team at Chelsea, mind.People cite his ‘failure’ at Everton but brush over him qualifying for the champions league at Chelsea.
Seems pretty obvious that it’s got a lot more to do with the clubs than Lampard.
He made the playoffs in his first season in management at Derby and at this level with the huge caveat that he’s given the tools to do the job, I think he’d be a good choice.
Do I think he’d take it - no !
I agree it's very well doneThe images I've seem certainly do not look fake (yes I know what some can do) but if you read the contents, it all looks and sound like a Sunderland press release.
I meant like a screenshot or something mateAnd all reference on here quickly deleted
you can't see it then if you aren't on twitter
This and also if Dodds got the job again, that would be the final nails in the coffin for me.That'll be the Chelsea connections . Net breaker Burstow. I think I'd genuinely cancel my season card if Burstow came back.
