Surely if there's any truth in this his missus would be so excited with the thought of shopping in the Bridges, Loose Women would be all over it.

Is unusual mind. Usually get something, thinking of how quickly Fabrizio Romano came out and denied the Wicky thing.

Lampard doesn’t need to be great he just needs to be equipped with the right squad. Look at Keane, Reid etc.

He might be a total disaster but given the other names mentioned, can anybody categorically state that any of them could get a tune out of the current squad.

The worst part of this remain the process, regardless of appointment. It’s pot luck at this point no matter who we appoint, and probably exactly the same with the players we are going to sign.

I think the big thing with Lampard would be that players would respect him and would more than likely want to work with an English legend. It may keep a few of them who are probably eyeing moves away interested in the club. Not sure any on the favourites list would do that?
