So had an email from club confirming that if I don’t take up

so just an update, been told via email that there is no mechanism to transfer to a normal season ticket, and that I need to join the waiting list (which they happily shared is now at 8k). So any corporates with decades of loyalty but who can’t afford the new prices just join the back of the waiting list. Charming

Looks like I will be spending my weekends with the grandkids a lot more after all.

Would have thought the owner would have learnt from the mags fa cup fiasco and the criticism of fans groups in the past, you never shit on your loyalest fans.
I had e mail saying the same.
Said there was a 14.5k list.
I'm so pissed off with them.
Hope they are warning anyone who upgrades this season about the implications

As shit as it may seem, I kinda get it. If someone decides to downgrade from corp, there may not be a standard seat available, as others have taken them and also joined queues to get this kind of seat when available.

I get it's shite as corp put a lot of money in, but if there's no normal seats what can they do? Turf out someone else? Not an issue when there's tons of seats, but when it's full this kind of thing is going to bite some :(

They could put them at the front of the waiting list instead of telling them to go to the back of the queue.

Surely existing season ticket holders, some who've said they have been for years and years, should have priority over anyone coming into it fresh?

It’s a bit worrying that if anything happened income wise or say suffered health problems and was unable to graft, that I’d be pretty much finished attending games now that we can’t move back into a normal area. All stinks a bit.
Yip.
As I've said before if there are no seats then fair enough but there will be and we should be ahead of people who have just decided to get one.
Was in bcb in league 1 when we were woeful.

There is though, they just need to open a window for those that need to downgrade after renewals and before new buyers

This. Situation is fecking disgraceful.
Anyone know what the prices are for each corporate bit this season?
We bailed out of the Riverside Brasserie the season with the FACup debacle with the skunks. We were annoyed the way the club handled the whole thing and subsequently took tickets in the P C. Looks like we had a lucky escape

That waiting list could gan either way based on Sundays game!

True! If all them whee started vanishing from 70 odd mins are anything to go by!!

Most likely, yes. But still if there are no free seats (everyone renews) what do they do?

And if someone is on a list for ages for a normal seat, then a seat comes up after a few seasons, but someone from corp decides they want it. Tough one really, no clear answer!

I’m guessing past spend on a basic seat means nothing if there are people queuing up to spend corporate levels to go into the revenue pot for the current year.
More than likely two completely different departments of the club.
The game has changed, we are feeling that now.
It’s not what you’ve done, it’s what you’re going to do that is important to the club.
It is fking outrageous and I've not heard of anything like this in any other service industry model. Never.

They should have built this in at consultation level with the current season ticket holders as part of the changes.

If there are still no free seats that's fair enough. If I wanted to move my seat in the ground but none were available my options would be stay where I am or jack it in.

As for someone being on the list for ages, again I'd compare it to anyone with a regular seat wanting to move. Someone from the waiting list wouldn't get priority there, why should they have priority just because a move is from Founders or 76 Yards rather than between regular seats? The season ticket holder should have priority.
