Founders bar

Club are effectively blackmailing people to stop in the premium areas, it's either pay the price or back of the waiting list queue and lose your season card next season. If someone wants to move from a premium area back into a normal seat they should be right at the front of the waiting list and that doesn't seem to be happening by what people have said on this forum. Club are taking the piss out of people.
I agree.
They can f*ck off if I go to the back of the waiting list

If it went tits up again they'd be going cap in hand to the loyal supporters that have had corporate during the League One days but are now being priced out and unable to move to GA.

Tbf mate, that could be argued for the majority of seats. I sit in the red section in GA and if I hit hard times, I know I wouldn’t be able to move to a cheaper area as SC are sold out across the SOL. Basically, what I have now, I have to keep.

It’s also worth remembering that at present the club don’t even know how many SC will be available to the waiting list after renewals have closed.

Well thats bollox you will get the chance on movers day to move. Why you defending the indefensible

It is rubbish but we are a business so why would they sell a ticket for half of the price they can get for selling it as a founders ticket
Why should someone who has had a season card for years be told they have to join the back of the queue if they wish to leave a premium area back into a normal seat?

Maybe I misunderstood. I thought people were wanting to buy their founders seat but at a normal ST price and just drop the founders bit off but stay in the same place?

I agree they should have first dibs after the renewal window closes and before the seat move /wait list

The thing is, there are no seats available anyway mate. If they do come available, I’m not convinced they will be much use if you are trying to more as a group as I suspect they the majority will be singles.

As grumpy says though, this is the sort of thing they will drive the extension.

Move to where? At present SC are sold out. Any moving day will totally be dependent on how many don’t renew.
That's the point of movers day yeah.

In our case, we were told pay for 76 yards or go to founders because there weren't enough seats together in GA. We took the hit on founders and were put in the founders bit of the PC. None of us particularly wanted to be there, especially given to get there from founders we'd have to leave the ground, walk through the car park and go back up the stairs at the other end of the ground. We were told we could look for alternatives on movers day. When movers day came around, there were two decent west stand seats. We asked if we could drop founders and the PC seats to move to the GA area. We were told we could move, but only if we kept founders. We're still being told the same, only this time, we'll also drop to the bottom of a waiting list. Its not a premium area. We're the only founders members in our area.

Thats the thing - while there will be odd seats available, highly unlikely to be groups etc.

For us it is, because we're not in a founders area. We've had little choice in the matter

People are saying they chose seats that are just general seats, not in any kind of special Founder's area, which was out of necessity anyways after moving from BCB. Then when they no longer want to pay for Founder's it turns out these seats are reserved for Founder's? Sounds odd.

In theory I could have sat in the same seat for ten years, decided to try Founder's last season, came to the conclusion it wasn't worth it, but stand to lose my seat as it became a designated Founder's seat.

If someone else wanted to move to Founder's but keep their current seats, do the original seats get released with the new seats locked to Founder's, or would those people have to move to Founder's seats?

All a bit messy.

At the very least the club should be looking at people who've had hospitality over the past X amount of years and have them to the front of the queue if they wanted to move to a regular season ticket.

All our group is scattered about the place now after we got turfed from BCB. Some gave up altogether. I think its a shame personally. Fans who've gone since the place opened just havent been thought about to generate a few extra quid from that area.

I’ll be honest mate and say that doesn’t sound great. I can see why you are pissed.

There’s only one block’s worth (tier) difference to be fair, not 3 or 4 normal sized blocks difference. They call it Level 7 because their bottom tier is divided into two tiny ones, then they have two normal sized blocks, a hospitality area below the upper tier similar to our 76 Yards/BCB, then their upper tier which is basically the same as our North Stand Upper with a balcony area and normal sized block.
It's still a good deal higher, at least one level, maybe 2. I've sat in both, there's no comparison.
