Its L22 not L21
There were no groups like that at all at the opening night.
Group of 6 I know from bcb couldn't sit together in the lower bowl at all.
So they have either moved people around a bit or loads in that area haven't renewed which seems odd.
I do think it needed a block mind, the seating was mental for a grand a season.

Still think anyone who buys this is mental personally. Some of the worst seats at a stupidly inflated price to get a bar which you have to pay for. Mental.
I can’t help thinking that its appeal is inflated by the poor experience of the basic concourses. There’s bound to be a few hundred happy to pay an extra fee quid to access a bar in the ground.
We need more of this sort of thing imo.

Dunno me, can see the appeal for it don't get me wrong, but the pricing seems well off.

Like comparing like to like to the same seats, it's literally nearly £45 a game to access the bar. It's just way too much.

Now if you got a premium seat in the middle of the East or West stand I could see the appeal but not Row 7 in block L22.

Be surprised if they sell personally, do agree that having more bars at a slightly inflated price £400 extra or so would be decent though.

We've come a long way like.

Facilities seem inadequate now, but the SoL is light years ahead of what was on offer at Roker Park.

All I can remember being available in the Fulwell End were a couple of tiny kiosks where you could basically get a pie or a bottle of villa pop 😂

Mind it was only £3 to get in like.

It is frustrating when you go to older grounds and they have better concourses just through not having our combination of a pitch sunken below ground level and the stands overhanging the councourses to the outside.

I went once last season & it was class. Thoroughly enjoyed the lad before & the lads after. You don’t have to sit in silence & listen.

But in Roker park the pies were an internal heat source for the rest of the weekend couple that with a cup of bovril just sorted you out for the whole week, my da used to drop a pie next to the bogs drain to thaw out the three inches of frozen piss, ah Happy days.

I'm not sure what difference the pitch being below ground level makes to the size of the concourses?
