You might be right. The BCB was cheaper, had padded seats and a meal (until recently) and it didn't sell out.
If it does sell out it'll be appalling anyway with 300 in there all trying to get served at once.
Aye, I'd agree that for existing BCB ticket holders next season it probably isn't awful (especially for the few who really want a programme!) but as an ongoing offering where the mark up on a ticket is actually going to be £27 I think it's pretty overpriced for what it is. Looks slightly worse than BCB for quite a lot more, but will be interesting to see what people make of it when it's in useAye, but they are the real numbers for a large percentage of the people they are currently trying to attract…current BCB ticket holders.
I get 2 programmes every game, and can’t remember the last time I actually read any of one
Mine’s a pint![]()
Is that the early bird price ?Quinn’s is provisionally £1770 vat included unless we go up then the price will go up we were told on Tuesday night in the founders bar
I don't think it'll sell out. It's a worse offering than the BCB and that never sold out.
The new version of BCB will probably sell well and that's the main thing for the club.
If they want to make money they should sell lightning lane passes (Disney might not sue) for the existing bars. Or have little lockers where you can pre order your pint to and someone puts it there just before half time for you to collect.
Charge so much a season for it.
Not sure abou early bird price, but we were told it is a provisional price for now, depending on what happens in the league, also the £200 per adult price reduction for relocating from bcb only applies to founders bar nowhere else. Only bonus I could see with Quinn’s was if you want an away game ticket you don’t need any black cat points, you just ring up corporate rep when they are released for saleIs that the early bird price ?
Even if Safc don’t go up I can’t see there not being an increase after early bird price
Unless you sit in that area, it's pretty pointless using it at half time. By the time you're able to get around the cramped concourse to it and then get served, the players will near enough be back outAye, I'd agree that for existing BCB ticket holders next season it probably isn't awful (especially for the few who really want a programme!) but as an ongoing offering where the mark up on a ticket is actually going to be £27 I think it's pretty overpriced for what it is. That’s the only thing I miss about the Quinn’s tbhNot sure abou early bird price, but we were told it is a provisional price for now, depending on what happens in the league, also the £200 per adult price reduction for relocating from bcb only applies to founders bar nowhere else. Did they get those chairs from a school surplus sale? Not bad on first visit. Loads of screens, half showing the lasses cup game, the rest had rugby on. Lad singing in the corner followed by stupidly loud DJ. Mad when you're having to shout at people sitting next to you. Reidy, Monty, Superdick in attendance. You can order food via terminals and collect it from the concourse. Drinks options bog standard, Roker Roar isn't the best, especially when served in a Carling Glass! Hopefully the roving photographer didn't catch me drinking from that.

Its a bloody chair manDid they get those chairs from a school surplus sale?
Mind, much though i get what it's meant to represent, I do think the fact that an "old school style table and chairs" layout just so happens to be pretty cheap to put together probably helped in their decision making process when deciding on the theme! Its a bloody chair man
some arent getting what the feel is meant to represent ffs
Regardless of theme, it has to be appealing to people to make them want to actually go. Looking at these pics it looks absolutely shit.Mind, much though i get what it's meant to represent, I do think the fact that an "old school style table and chairs" layout just so happens to be pretty cheap to put together probably helped in their decision making process when deciding on the theme!
I'm probably slightly different in that, for an entry level thing, I wouldn't need much. I'd want a seat, unlike quinns. If I can get a beer in a glass and get a seat, and easily get served a pint at half time without missing some of the game, I'd count that as a decent enough offering tbh, even if the seats don't look mint. It would still be an upgrade on the standard entry. The issue for me would be the price point and what else comes with it. Given what they're charging I'd also want an easy to access toilet, not having to share the scrum on the concourse. And I'd want the seat to be "prime", not near the corner/ somewhere I'm likely to get soaked if the weather is shit. £27 a match (when it's full price) is just too much for what is pretty much entry to a bar imo (I'm not arsed about a programme that I'll never read, and it probably costs buttons to produce).Regardless of theme, it has to be appealing to people to make them want to actually go. Aye but it held 7 or 800 and had 450 sc holdersYou might be right. The BCB was cheaper, had padded seats and a meal (until recently) and it didn't sell out.

Not necessarily but I don't want to spend a grand to sit in the front row if its pissing downWould I be right in thinking that the number one criteria for hospitality is that your match seat is within yards?
Seems that way on here.
And for the cost to be comfortableRegardless of theme, it has to be appealing to people to make them want to actually go. Looking at these pics it looks absolutely shit.
Haha fair point mateMind, much though i get what it's meant to represent, I do think the fact that an "old school style table and chairs" layout just so happens to be pretty cheap to put together probably helped in their decision making process when deciding on the theme!
