Founders bar

People must have more money than sense paying for some of these hospitality packages.

The only benefit I could see would be if you had an elderly relative who went with you, it would be great to be in early doors and only have a 2 minutes walk to your seat .

But the other 'luxuries' just seem absolutely no different or worse than drinking and eating in places around the town pre match

I agree with your first bit, but the 2 locations (bar and seat) make it a bit of a stretch to offer as a “perk”….not that the current offering seems logical like :)

At the end of the day, they are providing seats in either the PC or U22 which are about £600 to renew there…the bar add on is £400, which is about £17 per game on top….hoy in a programme and you’re £12 quid down per game for using the the new facilities on offer…..I honestly think it’s canny value for anyone who wants a pre or post match pint in a nicer space in the ground.

That said…..I’m not moving there like :)

That's decent enough (if you buy/want a programme and you're getting the BCB discount). Going to be £1200 for anyone not currently in the BCB though (and at least that for current BCB ticket holders the season after, given they are likely to do another annual price rise). £26 add on, basically for access to a bar, even when you commit to every league game, seems excessive. I can't imagine that many people buy the programme every game. It'll still probably do well mind

for a normal Saturday 3pm kick off, if you wanted a programme anyway, then fair enough it could be argued that its not that bad. £12 to access a bar.

but for early kick offs, sunday kick offs, evening kick offs - which are the vast majority of games, how much time are most people going to be able to spend in the bar? are you going to go in at 0930 for early kick offs?

it incidental anyway, i think it'll sell out for next season meaning the club have got it right. i guess for some people with disposable income or retired folk on good pensions, its a cheap-ish way to feel like your in hospitality

I hear you, but maybe I’m in the fortunate position to not have to consider all permutations before committing to an extra £12 a game……and I think evening KO’s is where it’s ideal, you’re not in the town for hours beforehand and can just head straight to the ground, no queuing to get in, decent pint or coffee and hang about after if you so wish.

Aye, but they are the real numbers for a large percentage of the people they are currently trying to attract…current BCB ticket holders.

I get 2 programmes every game, and can’t remember the last time I actually read any of one :)

As someone who simply drives to match and watches it without a beer think I’ll give this a miss.
It will sell out no doubt but will be interesting to see how well it is received . Will there be a guaranteed seat in there or will it be like the Quinn’s bar.
Wonder what the new price will be for the Quinn’s next season ?

I’m not sure it will.

I’m completely failing to see the attraction bar having to queue 15 minutes to be served by morons at HT in normal concourse.

I don't think it'll sell out. It's a worse offering than the BCB and that never sold out.

The new version of BCB will probably sell well and that's the main thing for the club.

If they want to make money they should sell lightning lane passes (Disney might not sue) for the existing bars. Or have little lockers where you can pre order your pint to and someone puts it there just before half time for you to collect.

Charge so much a season for it.

Quinn’s is provisionally £1770 vat included unless we go up then the price will go up we were told on Tuesday night in the founders bar
