Normally on these sites you get people with different views and have a real debate. Interestingly, on this subject, there isn't one person who thinks this is right or fair, so frustrated that the club doesn't think the same. I've just had another chaser from our Acc Mgr reminding me about the deadline (4pm tomorrow) after which the seats will be released but with a real heavy heart, I'm going to have to decline ... thanks all for your positive comments and support which has helped shape my decision. Anyone know where I can get a dodgy Firestick ?? 😁
As someone who ditched their season ticket and buys match to match now - it's not the end of the would as you can usually pick up tickets. I haven't failed to get to any match that I wanted to attend (basically the more demand weekend ones). You have to be on the ball on whatever Tuesday morning they go on sale though.

It's a real shame the club are doing this to you though.

Just checked my account , I’ve had the same seats at SOL since the first season but it’s only showing the last 2 seasons as previous history.

Have they had a reset ?

They couldnt get any more detail across when they moved the data from Ticketmaster to Seat Geek.

thats fair enough, i'm not in IT so maybe it was a difficult job.

but they could have kept a database of everyone details from before the move. name, membership number, age, address, contact details, seat number and years of continuous holding of ST.

surely it wouldn't be that hard to keep that data? i mean they moved across our loyalty points which go back from before the move to seat-geek so they obviously had to bypass that somehow

they could have kept the database on an old server tucked away somewhere, then when issues like this pop up they can open the spreadsheet, find the 'customer' name, and see ''oh yeah this guy has had a season ticket continuously for 25 years, we should really try and accommodate him'

Agreed. A backup of the TM data at least should have been accessibly archived.

That's good to hear Andrew, I see there's still tickets available for the Forrest game so hopefully we'll still get to plenty of games.

Why did I/ others complain ?
It was sold to us, at a premium price, as a private bar where we could get a seat and a pint straight after the match
That worked well for the first few games but then they opened it as a free for all and just couldn’t get served and just couldn’t get moved
Fair point like, don't think I'd be too pleased neither.

Sorry just checking can any season ticket holders go in and use this bar before the game? Does it get busy. Looking for alternatives to town

Used to be easy to walk into any of the hospitality areas, but I think they’ve all got wristbands or lanyard now.
