There has been a significant upgrade to the forums today, the forums are now open again, but I am still completing the updates so please be patient if all functions are not available yet or some styles/colours/text aren't correct - these things are still being worked on.
The major change that will be apparent to many users is the way that the dark and large text styles work.
If you were previously using the dark templates you will initially see the light ones - there is now a cog-wheel to the right of your name that lets you switch to dark mode - or follow the mode of your phone/computer for light/dark themes. (If you are in dark mode you will see a crescent moon instead of the cog wheel)
EDIT: It looks like the cog wheel isn't always there if your phone is in portrait mode (you may see a lightning symbol instead) - either turn your phone sideways to find it until I fix this, or scroll all the way to the bottom and you should find it below "style chooser"
Anyone who was using the large font will have also defaulted to the standard font - you can reselect large font using "Style chooser" from the forum footer - this will also now work in dark mode.
There is a thread in the help desk forum where you can report any major issues that you have, but please do not report any problems with missing features or minor problems with layout/colours of the forum and text - I am aware that quite a few of these things need to be fixed still and these will be worked on over the coming days but the priority was to get the forums up and running again.
If you still observe problems at the end of next week, feel free to report them then.
