Thoroughly enjoyed Steve Craddock tonight. I like the OCS singles, but wouldn’t call myself a big fan. He played mostly obscure stuff but very well done. A very different version of the Riverboat Song too.

Believe there’s tickets left for Whitley Bay on Sunday for anyone interested.

Next one is back at the Gala, John Power, but it’s more talking with a few songs hoyed in I believe.
 
Always seems to be the case for me I've noticed last few year.

Sure there'll be a financial reason for it but October and November are always stacked with acts touring compared to the rest of the year.
First term of year at university. Younger bands will want to get that demographic.
Summer is festivals and a percentage of the crowd are on holiday at any one time.

He was good tonight , played some great tunes , first time I’ve been to a gig with a dog fast asleep on the stage mind , thought huckleberry grove was quality especially with the story behind it
