It was a lovely night. Great acoustics at the venue, used to be a library. Nina still remains my favourite female singer to this day, 30 years after I first saw her.

Supposed to be at the City Hall tonight but, having swapped my Johnny Vegas ticket to last night (which meant giving my Nina Persson/James Yorkston ticket away), I've now had to give my Self-Esteem tickets away as my better half is, as we speak, having some little tumours microwaved! Thought about hanging on to my ticket and going after visiting this evening but decided I'd best stay available and let someone else enjoy the show. Women!!

yeah i think she thought the same thing too, i quite enjoy the sage being a bit more reserved but that's more my personailty... :lol:

Aye got 2 for Leeds….took the eldest to the House Of Kong exhibition last month which she really enjoyed, so figured I’d bite the bullet.

Beta Band in Leeds next Saturday which I’m piss me pants excited for.
 
Would've fancied seeing Fortitude Valley tomorrow but can't make it. Enjoyed them at The Grove last year(?). Also can't make it to BCNR on Saturday. Seems I'm destined never to see them. Had a ticket a few years ago back, but the singer left and tour was cancelled.

Ditto. Unless they keep my partner in hospital for another night, I'm going to be on nursing duties. Handy for the Star & Shadow after visiting if they do keep her in though!!

My new Martha black cat t-shirt arrived today though, as a little comforter.

PS 'Obviously', I hope they discharge her (in case she reads this).

We tried for House of Kong but they only had VIP left at £250 a pop.
