Esprit d’Air were surprisingly good performing over two spots at Digital in Newcastle, not a bad little venue. Be lucky if there was 300-400 there but most were obviously fans and lapped up the old and new material.

I searched all over for a keyboard player in vain and my conclusion was they could do without artificial electronic sounds which would make them a much heavier sound in my limited, humble opinion.

Tremendous evening, even though he largely played newer material that I wasn't familiar with. I'd had a look at the setlists from the tour so wasn't expecting any different but then for some reason he abandoned that and finished on a stonking extended medley of Gun and Pablo Picasso. 83 and still rocking, bless him. 'Do not go gentle into that good night', indeed.
 
Few gigs booked which have quite the variety.

Blackpink booked for London for the youngun
Sean Paul and ashanti next week at Newcastle and currently in the queue for the wombats.

Also booked to see Sabrina carpenter/olivia Rodrigo tribute thing at the fire station (for the bairn as well) more interested in trying the fire station having never been!
 
Brigitte Calls Me Baby @ The Common Room (fka Miner's Institute), tickets go on sale this Friday - it'll be a good gig, but the acoustics are shite in there.

Went on O2 Priority after I saw your post, in the early hours - said the presale was ending at 10:00 am which I thought seemed odd, but I got some tickets then!

Didn't know Spotify is involved in presales. Is this a new thing?

I think it possibly depends on if you follow the artist and where you are in the fan % for listening to them.
Its the first time I've had owt tbh.
But id pre ordered the album so got the earliest link anyway
 
Got a few coming up: Flaming Lips, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pixies, Manics, Lana Del Rey, Smashing Pumpkins. Hopefully get tickets for the Lady Gaga and Hans Zimmer gigs.
